At bloom work & play, we are dedicated to providing a structured, engaging, and community-centered environment for young adults with disabilities. Our program is active, social, and designed to encourage independence, creativity, and meaningful participation in the community.

To ensure the best experience for everyone, bloom maintains a 5:1 bloomer-to-teacher ratio. Because of this structure, bloomers need to be able to participate with a level of independence that allows them to safely and successfully engage in the program.

bloom is a great fit for young adults who are able to:

• Participate in a structured daily schedule with guidance from teachers

• Keep up with our active program, which includes daily outings, outdoor walks and hikes, and community-based activities

• Be independently mobile and comfortable walking during activities and field trips

• Use the restroom independently

• Participate in group environments with supportive but limited assistance from staff

Our goal is to create a supportive space where bloomers can build confidence, develop life skills, and enjoy meaningful experiences in the community. If you’re unsure whether bloom may be the right fit for your young adult, we would be happy to connect and talk through their individual needs.
